Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed officials to analyze the suspended support programs from the United States and identify the most critically important ones. This is essential for finding alternative funding sources to ensure their continued implementation. The head of state announced this in an evening address on January 28.

"There are many projects. We will determine which of them are critical and require solutions right now. Part of the funding can be secured through our state finances, and part will be discussed with our European and American partners," the president stated.

According to him, these initiatives cover a wide range of areas—from telecommunications and digital technologies to social support for veterans, educational institutions, medical facilities, and infrastructure restoration.

Zelensky emphasized that he will be presented with a complete list of programs focusing on priority areas, including assistance for children, veterans, and critically important facilities. The government will seek ways to maintain their funding despite current limitations.

Additionally, the president noted that numerous humanitarian initiatives have been suspended, which were typically carried out not through state structures, but directly through local communities and relevant organizations.
