President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his support for the protests in Slovakia on Friday, January 24. He shared this on social media X.   "Bratislava is not Moscow. Slovakia is Europe," Zelensky wrote in Slovak.   As reported, on Friday evening, large-scale protests against the policies of Prime Minister Robert Fico's government began in various cities across Slovakia. The protesters' slogan is "Slovakia is Europe." The protests were organized by the initiative Peace of Ukraine and opposition political parties. Similar protests are also taking place in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Ireland.   The day before, Fico claimed that there is a group of unknown "experts" in Slovakia who allegedly "assisted in the protests" in Ukraine in 2014 and in Georgia last year. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded to his statements.
