Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Budapest. The head of state reported this via Telegram on Thursday, November 7.   "During the meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, I discussed the situation on the battlefield, particularly the involvement of North Korean troops in the Russian aggression against Ukraine. A more decisive response from Western countries is needed regarding North Korea's new role in the Russo-Ukrainian war," Zelensky wrote.   The parties also talked about the implementation of the decisions made at the NATO summit in Washington, especially concerning the enhancement of air defense, investments in Ukrainian production of shells, drones, and long-range systems.   "Ukraine requires permission to use long-range weapons against military targets on Russian territory," the president emphasized.   It is worth noting that earlier Zelensky reported the first losses among North Korean military in battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.   According to GUR, there are currently 11,000 North Korean troops concentrated in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
