Zelensky identified who could potentially bring an end to the war.

American leader Donald Trump may be able to end Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine faster than anyone else. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Italian journalist Cecilia Salli.   "He (Trump – ed.) doesn’t warn – he simply says he really wants to end the war. We don’t know how this will happen yet, because we don’t know the details. And I think President Trump himself doesn’t know all the details. Because there are many factors, I would say, it mostly depends on what kind of just peace we can achieve. And whether Putin, in principle, wants to end the war," said the head of state.   Zelensky believes that Trump understands all these challenges. "And he simply says that it needs to be finished, because it will get worse. And he is implying worse towards Russia," the president added.   According to the Ukrainian leader, Trump can accelerate the end of the war through strength, sanctions, the might of the United States, and its economy.   "At the very least, he can do this faster than anyone else in the world today. In my opinion, in terms of military, economic influence of America on the global economy, and his personal characteristics, I believe he can indeed influence this faster than others," Zelensky said.   The president also added that the security guarantee for Ukraine should be Europe plus the USA.   Recall that the head of state previously stated that the potential negotiation platform should include Ukraine, the USA, Europe, and Russia.   In Zelensky's view, negotiations to end the war between Russia and Ukraine should first take place with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, and then with Putin.
