Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his video address, emphasized that 2025 should be a pivotal year for Ukraine in negotiations for joining the European Union. He mentioned that important discussions regarding the progress of the negotiation process with the EU took place today. Zelensky reported this in his video address.
According to him, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, government representatives, and the President's Office team participated in the discussions. Zelensky expressed confidence that this year would be a significant step toward achieving Ukraine's goals for integration into the European Union, which, in turn, will positively impact the security of the entire continent.
He also noted that the presidency of the EU will pass to Poland in the first half of the year and to Denmark in the second half. The president highlighted the high responsibility of these countries as partners of Ukraine in the negotiation process and assured that Ukraine will do everything possible to move forward successfully in these negotiations.
