Zelensky announced new support formats for brigades.

 

President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff focused on issues related to military supplies. The head of state reported this during a video address on Friday, January 31.   "There were many reports. Regarding supplies to the troops – this is our weaponry, all purchases, contracts. Everything is in place. There is provision. We need to increase the pace of supply and require more of such systems, such weapons that will help save more lives of our warriors, our people. More orders for drones. More investments in the development of robotic systems. And more supplies of basic weaponry. All necessary assignments are in place," the president stated.   Zelensky emphasized that the Ukrainian industry has potential. "Countries, particularly in Europe, are ready to collaborate with Ukraine to invest in our defense production. Our diplomats have clear tasks," the head of state added.   According to him, it is essential for funding from partners for the Ukrainian defense sector to increase.   "And in particular, this should be a KPI – key performance indicators of Ukrainian diplomacy," Zelensky noted.   The president also mentioned that new formats for supporting brigades and staffing units are being prepared.   "There were reports from the military today: the front, the situation with brigades – staffing. We are preparing new formats for supporting brigades and staffing units. I tasked to present the details to the public next week," Zelensky said.   Recall that there is a major scandal in Ukraine's Ministry of Defense surrounding the issue of arms procurement. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov dismissed the head of the formally independent Defense Procurement Agency (ATZ), Marina Bezrukova, and accused her of failing in her duties.
