The Russian radar station of the S-400 missile defense system was destroyed in the Kursk direction on Saturday. This was reported by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andrei Kovalenko, on Sunday, November 24.
"Yesterday, the radar of the S-400 missile defense system was hit in the Kursk direction. Without it, it is blind. This will complicate the work of other systems in the Kursk region for targeting military objectives on enemy territory," Kovalenko noted.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the radar station of the Russian S-400 missile defense system.
"On the night of November 24, the missile troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, delivered a coordinated strike on the positions of the S-400 missile division of the 1490th air defense regiment of the 6th Army of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region. A successful hit on the radar station of the S-400 missile defense system was recorded," the report stated.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Buk-M2 missile system in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, it was reported that soldiers from the RV. and Kurt&Company units of the 28th OMBR eliminated another assault group of Russians on the approaches to Toretsk.
