Zelensky stated that the West has not fulfilled its promise to equip the brigades.

Ukraine requested the equipment for ten military brigades to counter Russian aggression; however, the West has fully supplied only two and a half brigades. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the British television channel Sky News on Friday, November 29.     The President noted that Ukraine's problem lies in providing military personnel with weapons and equipment, rather than the number of troops available.   "Partners talk about mobilization, but the real issue is with the 10 brigades that our partners have not equipped. I have been asking them for over a year because we need to equip these brigades. We made this decision with the United States and our European allies, and today Europe and the United States have fully equipped two and a half brigades," the president explained.   Zelensky mentioned that this situation arose due to "some bureaucracy, some decisions," adding that "it is always like this in this war."   "Someone asked me about mobilization, and I don't want to assert that this is the position of some leaders in Europe. They say young people are needed, etc. And I responded: do you want someone to go to their death without weapons?" he said.   The president emphasized that decisions regarding the number of military personnel in Ukraine are made with the aim of preserving as many lives as possible.   "And if European or American officials have ideas about the age of mobilization, I want to ask our partners to do their job, and we will do ours," Zelensky stressed.   Previously, it was reported that Biden may not be able to provide Ukraine with the promised multibillion-dollar aid in time.
