YouTube has resumed the delivery of "buttons" to Ukraine - awards for creators with a large number of subscribers. This was reported on Wednesday, January 22, by the Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science, and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov. He reminded that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian content creators have not received awards from YouTube. Silver, gold, and diamond buttons simply were not delivered to Ukraine due to the hostilities. "Recently, Ukrainian creators reached out to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and then active communication began with the Ukrainian team at Google. The YouTube team took the request into work - and there is a positive decision," the minister noted. According to him, starting from January 2025, Ukrainian creators will once again be able to receive YouTube awards. "By the way, buttons are not delivered to Russia, Belarus, Iran, and North Korea.
