Ukrainian forces have destroyed the command post of the 8th Guards Army of the Russian Federation in Khartsyzsk.

Today, January 8, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a precision strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation, located in the city of Khartsyzsk in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to reports, the Russian occupying forces utilized this facility to coordinate their attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population, particularly targeting the city of Kurakhovo.

This strategic move was part of the enemy's plans to intensify offensive actions aimed at destabilizing the situation in eastern Ukraine. However, due to the precision of the strike, an important Russian command unit was destroyed, significantly complicating the organization of further attacks.
