The Russian army attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops near Velyka Novosilka; however, the occupiers suffered fire damage to their equipment. This was reported by the OSGV Khortytsia in a Telegram post on Monday, February 3rd.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, enemy assault groups attacked in the area of Konstantinopol, the military notes.
Not far from Velyka Novosilka, the enemy attempted to advance with the support of armored vehicles, which were deployed in two waves.
Fire damage was inflicted on the enemy columns, resulting in the destruction of three tanks, three armored vehicles, and one buggy. The occupiers withdrew from further offensive actions.
Recall that on January 26, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapaty, as the head of OSGV Khortytsia.
