The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck six areas where the occupiers were concentrated.

In the past 24 hours, the missile troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck six areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, as well as two artillery systems and one Russian electronic warfare station. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their morning briefing on Wednesday, February 5.

There were 85 combat clashes recorded at the front. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops near Volchansk once. The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Lozova, and in the direction of Novoosynove in the Kupiansk sector, where seven attacks by the occupiers occurred throughout the day.

Over the past day, the Russians attacked twice in the Lyman direction, trying to break through the defense near the settlements of Yampolivka and Dibrova. In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers launched six attacks in the areas of Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Chasiv Yar.

The enemy carried out ten attacks in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders halted 35 offensive actions by the Russians in the areas of Kalynove, Myrolubivka, Luch, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Andriivka, and Dachne.

The defense forces repelled two enemy attacks in the Novopavlivka direction. The occupiers attempted to advance near Razliv and Zelenivka. In the Huliaipole direction, three attacks by the invaders were repelled by defenders near Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders twice, attempting to advance towards Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka.

Over the past day, there were 12 combat clashes in the Kursk direction, with the enemy carrying out 46 airstrikes, dropping 67 guided bombs, and conducting 378 artillery shellings, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

Recall that in the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,140 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 844,070 soldiers.
