Russian forces have increased their strikes on the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region. In particular, the enemy is dropping guided aerial bombs on the city.
"Typically, it's not just one bomb; multiple bombs fall at once. The issue is that the alarm signal finds it very difficult to warn about the arrival of guided aerial bombs because they are in the sky for a very short time. Enemy aviation operates both along the front line and against our cities," noted Lyakh.
Specifically, this week, the number of shellings has increased, resulting in civilian casualties. Infrastructure has also been affected—some neighborhoods in the city were without electricity for 15-20 hours due to damage to high-voltage networks located outside the city.
About 50,000 people remain in the city of Sloviansk, including around five thousand children.
We remind you that on November 20, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on a residential area in Konstantynivka, resulting in six people being injured.
