Since the start of the day, there have been 71 combat encounters on the front lines. The Russian invaders are primarily attacking in the Pokrovsk, Kupiansk, and Lyman directions, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational update as of 16:00 on Saturday, February 1.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy made 15 attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Topoli, Dvurechna, Petropavlivka, Stepna Novosilka, Hlushkovka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. Four combat encounters are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the aggressor attacked 12 times near Novoehorivka, Ternovi, Yampolivka, Kolodtsiv, Torsk, and in the direction of Novomykhailivka. Currently, four combat encounters are still taking place.
In the , the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled three attacks near Verkhnokamenske and Bilohorivka. One combat encounter is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled two attacks from the occupiers. Three combat encounters are still happening. The Russians are conducting active operations in the area of Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance five times in the Toretsk area. Currently, two combat encounters are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, clashes of varying intensity have occurred 22 times. Our soldiers are repelling enemy attacks in the areas of Zeleny Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Luch, Zveriv, Udachny, Uspenivka, Novoaleksandrivka, Seredynivka, and Dachne. Eight combat encounters are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to break through towards Konstantynivka once.
In the Huliaipole direction, the aggressor attacked the positions of our defenders near Novosilka but faced resistance.
In the Orikhiv direction, two battles are being fought in the area of Shcherbakiv and Nesterianka.
In Kurshchyna, three attacks by the Russians were repelled. One combat encounter is still ongoing.
