Volunteer Mochanov accused journalist Butusov of manipulating information regarding the situation at the front, according to media reports.

Renowned volunteer Alexey Mochanov criticized journalist Yuri Butusov for spreading false rumors about the situation at the front, accusing him of manipulation. Mochanov made this statement on his social media page, reports "Law and Business".

“Butusov travels around the front, gathering gossip and rumors, streaming, and, as always, lying. He recently claimed about the 'Headquarters, where they were discussing the situation with the 155th brigade, and the President took everything under personal control.' But there was no Headquarters; this is easy to verify,” notes Mochanov.

According to him, he and Butusov first met during broadcasts of a well-known political television talk show. Initially, they were opponents, as Butusov publicly criticized the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without having a grasp of the situation at the front.

Therefore, Mochanov, who has been assisting the front since 2014 and was among the defenders of Donetsk airport, took the journalist with him to the front lines in the summer of 2015 to show and explain the realities of the war in the east. After that, they co-hosted a series of programs about the military.

“Since then, my personal hell began. A horror that still occasionally haunts me. After all, the liberation of prisoners is definitely not about white clothing and glossy-covered books,” characterizes this collaboration Mochanov.
