Russian forces launched an attack on the Dnipro district at night using artillery and drones. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, on Sunday, January 26.
"The Russians fired artillery at the Nikopol region three times, launching more than ten shells at Nikopol and the Myrivska community. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries," Lysak noted.
He also added that the fighters of the Eastern Defense Forces successfully shot down six enemy drones aimed at the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The shelling did not cause any damage, and the situation is under control.
