The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the mobilization reservation process, maintaining a basic reservation quota of 50% of the number of conscripted individuals at an enterprise or institution. However, women have been excluded from the total count of conscripted individuals used for this calculation. The corresponding procedure has been approved by government resolution No. 1332.
According to this procedure, certain categories of civil servants and heads of local councils are also excluded from the total number of conscripted individuals for quota calculations.
These changes may impact the allowable number of reservations in specific sectors where there are a significant number of female servicemen, such as in the pharmaceutical industry.
It is worth noting that on October 8, the Cabinet, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, decided to suspend reservations for an audit of decisions regarding the provision of critical enterprise status.
The published resolution resumes reservations through the Diya portal after December 1 of this year, while previously issued reservations remain valid until their expiration, but no later than February 28, 2025.
