The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two "Shaheds" used by the Russians to attack Ukraine during the night of January 7. This was reported by the Naval Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
"During the nighttime air assault by Russian occupiers, the forces and assets of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down two enemy kamikaze drones, SHAHED-136," the message states.
Recall that on the night of January 6, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with two guided air missiles X-59 and 128 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, along with various types of drone decoys. The air defense system shot down two missiles and 79 UAVs.
As previously reported, at least eight Russian kamikaze drones of the Shahed type were detected in Belarus during the night from January 5 to 6.
