Ukraine has implemented a state of emergency with power outages.

The Russian Federation has attacked power generation and transmission facilities across Ukraine, leading to emergency power outages. This was reported on the morning of November 17 by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.

"Another massive attack on the energy system is taking place. The enemy is targeting power generation and transmission facilities throughout Ukraine. The transmission system operator has urgently implemented emergency power outage measures. Where possible, rescue teams and energy workers are already working to mitigate the consequences," Halushchenko wrote on Facebook.

Recall that on Sunday morning, Russian troops launched a massive aerial attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. According to DTEK, emergency power outages have been implemented in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
