Ukraine has reintroduced emergency power outages.

On February 4th, emergency power outages will be implemented in the Kirovohrad, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
В Украине вновь начали действовать аварийные отключения электроэнергии.

On the morning of February 4, emergency power outage schedules (GEO) were implemented in several regions of Ukraine. Citizens are urged to consume electricity more responsibly.

For instance, emergency outages are being applied in the Kirovohrad region. Kirovohradoblenergo noted that due to the simultaneous introduction of power outage schedules and emergency disconnections, the duration without electricity may be longer.

In Sumioblenergo, it was reported that emergency outage schedules have also been introduced in the Sumy region. According to instructions from Ukrenergo, GEO in the Sumy region is operating on the first queue.

The queue for emergency outage schedules does not coincide with the queue for hourly outages. Hourly outage schedules are not in use.

By order of Ukrenergo, emergency disconnections are also being implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

Recall that on February 3, emergency power outages were introduced in Ukraine due to network overload. Initially, this concerned only four regions, but then Ukrenergo expanded the area of emergency outages.
