Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a pension increase for the spring. He stated this on Tuesday, February 4, during an evening address following the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) meeting with officials.   "It is important: the pension indexation is ready for spring, starting from March 1," he said.     The president emphasized, "No matter how difficult it is, we are finding resources to assist all Ukrainians and Ukrainian producers."   He also mentioned the "eSupport" initiative. According to him, nearly 13 billion hryvnias have been disbursed directly to Ukrainian families as part of this initiative.   "The number of participants in the program demonstrates its necessity and the demand for similar direct support programs. There are already more than 5 million clients of the 'National Cashback' program - this is also a significant number of participants that speaks for itself. We are working to expand all effective support formats. This will happen - I have given the relevant instructions to the government," Zelensky stated.   The president reported that during the NSDC meeting, some key issues regarding Ukraine's financial stability and fiscal discipline were addressed.

Additionally, the Ukrainian government has restricted the payment of special pensions exceeding 23,610 UAH - 10 living minimums for individuals who have lost their ability to work, implementing corresponding reduction coefficients on amounts that exceed this threshold during the period of martial law until 2025.
