“These facts indicate that Mr. Sternenko was aware of the need to fulfill his obligations as a conscript and took appropriate measures to regularize his status,” said the TCK.

They also denied allegations that the search for Sternenko was an act of "revenge" for his public criticism, emphasizing that their activities are conducted in accordance with Ukrainian law.

"We urge Mr. Sternenko and other citizens who doubt the legality of the TCK and SP's actions to contact the structural divisions of the Odessa Regional TCK and SP directly to clarify all circumstances and resolve any possible misunderstandings," the statement read.
