In Trostyanets, a man armed with a knife attacked a military officer at a recruitment center, leaving the soldier in critical condition and hospitalized.

In the Vinnytsia region, in the village of Trostyanets, an incident occurred that resulted in an employee of the Haisyn Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support being injured. A man, summoned by a draft notice, attacked him with a knife. This was reported by the Haisyn RTC and SP.

The incident took place on November 25, when the center employee was engaged in scheduled work with military personnel. The attack, carried out by his fellow villager, resulted in the victim being taken to intensive care with a stab wound to the area of the right collarbone. The assailant explained his actions by claiming that the center employee was trying to send him to the front lines.

The victim is a 53-year-old serviceman who has been involved in combat operations since 2022. Due to health reasons, he was transferred to work at the center in 2023. He is survived by his wife, two children, and elderly mother.

This case has become an example of betrayal, as the victim was serving on the front lines, defending his homeland, while the attacker essentially struck him in the back.

Let us recall that a young man wandered in the mountains for three days without food or water: rescuers found the lost individual. After three days of searching, he was located by mountain rescuers, who provided assistance and took him to the hospital.
