In Shostka, Sumy region, utility workers stumbled upon a bag containing six thousand euros but mistakenly believed it to be souvenir money and discarded it at the landfill. However, the story has a happy ending, as reported by the local publication Shostka.info.   It was reported that the utility workers were cleaning up trash when they discovered a bag filled with bundles of euros. They genuinely thought it was souvenir currency and threw it away, leading the money to end up at the dump.   "The owner of the bag, which contained 6,000 euros, rushed to the utility workers upon realizing the money was missing. They informed him that he should look for it elsewhere… Ultimately, the man went to the landfill, where he successfully found his bag of 6,000 euros after searching through the trash. It is said that he gifted the honest utility workers 1,000 UAH each as a token of gratitude," the publication writes.   The police informed journalists that they had not received any reports regarding the missing money.   As a reminder, in Transcarpathia, a mobilized individual stole €27,000 from the head of the TCC and fled.
