In Sumy, a Russian missile struck a high-rise building.

On the evening of Sunday, November 17, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on a residential building in Sumy. At least ten people were killed, and another 51 were injured, as reported by the State Emergency Service (GSChS).   "Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, 10 people lost their lives, including two children. A total of 51 individuals were injured, among them five children," the statement said.   Meanwhile, the Sumy region prosecutor's office clarified that a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were among the deceased.   The GSChS noted that over 400 individuals were evacuated from the damaged building.   Points of invincibility have been set up at the site. Rescuers, police, and other services are assisting people in coping with injuries and providing all necessary support.   It was also reported that the windows of six ten-story buildings were damaged, and four vehicles were destroyed. A door-to-door inspection of all affected buildings is being conducted to check every corner and locate any victims.
