In one of the educational institutions in the Varash district of the Rivne region, in the village of Mulchyntsi, a teacher assaulted a student. This was reported on Saturday, January 18, by the local channel VOLOD BLOG. A video circulated online shows an adult man yelling at the child and hitting him on the head several times, as well as slapping him. The comments indicated that the student is from a children's home and allegedly provoked the adult. Elena Koren, head of the education department of the Varash City Council, reacted to the incident, stating that the teacher will be held accountable and dismissed. "This unacceptable incident was reported to the police by an officer who works at the institution. At the same time, an internal investigation is being conducted at the educational establishment," the official wrote.
