The U.S. Department of Defense announced that there are $9.3 billion left to assist Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggressors, the majority of which—$7.1 billion—was allocated through the PDA (Presidential Drawdown Authority) program. This was stated on Tuesday, November 12, by Pentagon spokesperson Major General Patrick Ryder, as reported by a journalist from Voice of America.     Of these funds, $4.3 billion was approved by Congress in April, while $2.8 billion became available after recalculations. Additionally, approximately $2.2 billion is accessible through the USAI program.   The Pentagon spokesperson emphasized that the U.S. is utilizing all available resources to aid Ukraine.   Previously, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated that the U.S. Department of Defense plans to use all available funds for programs supporting Ukraine until the end of President Joe Biden's term. At that time, the figure discussed was around six billion dollars.   PDA Presidential drawdown authority - a program for direct assistance from the U.S. Department of Defense at the direction of the President.   USAI Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative - a funding program by the U.S. Department of Defense to enhance Ukraine's capacity to defend itself more effectively against Russian aggression through further training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provision of equipment, and advisory initiatives.   It was previously reported that the administration of current U.S. President Joe Biden plans to urgently spend the remaining funds for assistance to Ukraine, amounting to six billion dollars. This is planned to be done by the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, 2025.
