Operators from the 8th Special Operations Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a group of 13 North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. During the special operation, Ukrainian special forces killed five DPRK fighters in direct combat, while another eight died as a result of drone strikes. This was reported by the command of the SSO.
Following the combat encounter, SSO operators conducted a thorough examination of the bodies and personal belongings of the enemy soldiers.
One of the deceased was found with an assault rifle equipped with a collimator sight, a Chinese-Russian radio station "Azart," a drone detection device, and an identification card that clearly differed from a standard military ID.
This may indicate his affiliation with the officer corps. Additionally, a letter addressed to a party was discovered, further highlighting the distinctiveness of this individual among other soldiers.
