In Crimea, a Russian mobile operator has blocked the Google search engine.

Google displays different results when searching in territories occupied by Russians, depending on whether a VPN is used or not.
В Крыму российский оператор связи ограничил доступ к поисковой системе Google.
The mobile operator in occupied Crimea, "Volna Mobile," may have blocked the American search engine Google. Local residents confirm that when they try to use the search function in Google Chrome, they encounter a "403 error." This was reported on Tuesday, January 28, by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind."   It is also noted that in Crimea, most home internet providers have blocked and are unable to provide access to the Google Play app download service. For some providers, it operates with significant delays.   "Yes, one of our subscribers took nearly two hours to download the Google Chrome app, which is only 3.6 megabytes," the Telegram channel added.   Since the beginning of August 2024, YouTube has stopped loading on computers and mobile devices for users in Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine, including Crimea.   Recall that earlier in the Kremlin, it was stated that the issue of YouTube's slow performance in Russia is not a priority. Last week, Roskomnadzor blocked the Viber messenger in Russia.
