In Kryvyi Rih, a former military official was exposed for aiding individuals in evading mobilization.
Law enforcement officials have uncovered a 36-year-old resident of Kryvyi Rih who established a criminal scheme to evade mobilization and illegally cross the state border of Ukraine. Over the course of a year, the perpetrator "assisted" 22 men in avoiding military service, four of whom left the country and did not return. This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to investigators, the suspect used his official position to issue temporary certificates with a false stamp indicating unfitness for military service. He entered false information into the Unified State Register of Military Obligations, allowing those liable for military service to receive deferrals and leave Ukraine without hindrance.
On January 22, a search was conducted at the suspect's residence, during which documents, computer equipment, and a mobile phone were seized, confirming his criminal activity.
The man is now facing charges under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
Part 1, 2 of Article 332 (illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine),
Part 1, 3 of Article 362 (unauthorized actions with information processed in electronic computing machines or automated systems).
Investigative actions were carried out by the police department No. 4 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police under the operational support of the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU. The procedural guidance is provided by the Kryvyi Rih Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the defense sector of the Eastern region.
