Russian military forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region using artillery, mortars, and drones. This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor's office on Sunday, January 5. There is information about one deceased and 12 injured civilians. Most of the wounded sustained injuries due to attacks from enemy drones in the Kherson district. As a result of the shelling in Antonovka, a man died in the hospital. Five other individuals in this settlement were injured. Six civilians were hurt in Kherson, and one person was injured in Kamyshany. It is noted that at least 22 civilian objects were damaged, including private homes, administrative buildings, garages, and vehicles. The prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings regarding the commission of war crimes. Recall that Russian troops attacked Kamyshany in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, a 60-year-old man was injured. Previously, Russian forces shelled the settlements of Monastyrske and Belozerka in the Kherson region. Three people were injured: a 39-year-old man, a 64-year-old woman, and a 52-year-old woman.
