The General Staff provided an update on the situation at the front lines.

 

From the beginning of the day, there have been 125 combat engagements at the front. Russian invaders launched attacks 51 times in the Pokrovsk direction, suffering losses of over 300 personnel. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, January 30.   In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat engagement near Liptsy. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the area of Kazachya Lopania. Three times, Russians attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupiansk direction, near Petropavlivka, Zahryzovyi, and Nova Kruhlyakivka. Defense forces repelled all enemy attacks.   In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, Zelenaya Dolina, Terny, and Kolodtsy. Our warriors repelled nine enemy attacks.   In the Siversky direction, the enemy made nine attempts to push our defenders back from their positions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske, with all combat engagements concluded. In the Kramatorsk direction, our soldiers repelled 10 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Orekhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne.   In the Toretsk direction, Russians attempted to advance 13 times in the areas of Toretsk, Diliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Krymske, with one engagement ongoing.   In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 51 times in the areas of the settlements of Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodyane Druhe, Novotoretske, Luch, Pokrovsk, Lisovka, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Yasenove, Shevchenko, and Dachne. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing.   Today, the losses of the occupiers in this direction amounted to 337 killed and wounded, with 10 vehicles destroyed, one UAV antenna, one means of satellite communication, two electronic warfare systems, one anti-tank missile system, the Murom-M observation complex, and three operational-tactical level UAVs, in addition to significant damage to two enemy mortars.   In the Novopavlivsk direction, the invaders carried out one attack near Konstantynivka. In the Huliaipole direction, Russians attempted four times to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Novopillia and Novosilka.   In the Dnipro direction, Russian invaders made seven attempts to displace the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their positions, but suffered losses and retreated without success.   The Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk direction. Our warriors repelled 11 attacks by Russians in this area, and additionally, enemy aviation carried out 12 airstrikes on its own territory, dropping 16 KABs.   To remind, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,270 Russian occupiers. The total combat losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine have reached approximately 835,940 personnel.
