Today, November 13, temporary power restrictions have been implemented for businesses and industrial consumers of electricity in Ukraine. According to Ukrenergo, this decision is due to a short-term reduction in maneuverable generation capacity and a significant decrease in electricity import volumes into the country.
The restrictions will be in effect throughout the day and will apply solely to businesses and industrial enterprises. It is expected that in the evening, after addressing the equipment issues, all temporary restrictions will be lifted. Meanwhile, residential consumers will be able to use electricity without any changes - no additional restrictions are anticipated for them.
In light of the power restrictions, "Ukrenergo" recommends that enterprises use electricity wisely, especially during peak consumption hours. This will help ensure the stable operation of the energy system and reduce the risk of overloads in challenging weather conditions or during increased electricity demand.
Enterprises are also advised to actively utilize electricity import opportunities for their own needs. This will allow them to avoid further restrictions in similar situations in the future.
"Ukrenergo" urges all electricity consumers - both residential and industrial - to approach their usage thoughtfully, especially during peak hours. Conserving energy during high-demand periods will help ensure the reliability of Ukraine's energy system and prevent additional restrictions.
We remind you that the Ukrainian defense forces have repelled over 160 enemy attacks and inflicted significant losses on the occupiers, according to the General Staff. The enemy has suffered serious losses in personnel and equipment, and the Ukrainian army continues counterattacks, hitting key targets of the occupiers and strengthening its positions on the path to victory.
