Ukrainian long-range drones can carry 250 kg bombs, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The command of the unmanned systems confirmed the deployment of a long-range drone capable of carrying a 250-kilogram aerial bomb and traveling up to 2,000 km with the ability to return. This was reported by the press service of the Unmanned Systems on Friday, January 31.   "The command of the US confirms the use of a long-range UAV capable of carrying a 250-kilogram aerial bomb and covering up to 2000 km with a return capability. This is a unique development that changes the rules of engagement on the battlefield," the statement noted.   It was highlighted that the operators of the 14th Separate Battalion of UAVs have been striking deep behind enemy lines for over a year, "covering hundreds, and sometimes thousands of kilometers."   "Russian propaganda constantly claims the 'loss' of such aircraft, but the explosions at military-industrial complex facilities, oil refineries, and ammunition depots tell a different story," the press service added.   Earlier, an image of an unidentified UAV armed with a heavy aerial bomb inscribed with "For Mykolaiv" circulated widely on TG channels and in the media.   The Unmanned Systems emphasized that they urge media representatives to rely on information from official sources of the Unmanned Systems.   "Sometimes silence is necessary for success: most operations of the Unmanned Systems are not subject to public disclosure, but they deliver critical strikes against the enemy's military infrastructure," the command stressed.   It is worth noting that it has become known that Ukrainian military possess a laser weapon called Trident.   Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine has begun serial production of the drone missile Peklo. It has a speed of 700 km/h and a range of over 700 km.
