Ukraine has reunited two more children from occupied territories.
Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there has been a widespread deportation of Ukrainian children by Russians. They are being taken to Belarus, Russia, and some are being sent to occupied Crimea.

Two girls aged 6 and 14 have been rescued from territories temporarily occupied by Russia. This was reported on Tuesday, November 26, in a Telegram post by Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
"Today, two more Ukrainian girls have returned home from temporarily occupied territories as part of the President of Ukraine's initiative Bring Kids Back UA," Yermak stated.
As the head of the Office of the President explained, 6-year-old Maria lived with her grandparents in the Donetsk region. After her grandmother passed away, the girl was left only with her grandfather. He feared that the occupying authorities would take his granddaughter away and understood that the only way to save the child was to evacuate her to a safe area.
Now Maria is safe with her mother and younger brother.
Veronika was placed in a foster family in the Kherson region. However, after the Russian occupation in 2022 of the village where she lived, her life changed dramatically. Veronika was in a constant state of stress and fear, which negatively affected her health. Additionally, due to the lack of stable communication and electricity, the girl was unable to attend school.
"Today, Veronika is already home," noted the head of the Office of the President.
The head of the Office published photos of the rescued children.

It is worth noting that earlier, 12 more young Ukrainian citizens were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine from occupation.
Ukraine has brought back nine teenagers and a 20-year-old young man from occupation and Russia.
