A total of 15 children have been successfully returned from territories temporarily occupied by Russian forces. They traveled from the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. This was reported on Friday, November 15, by
the founder of the charity organization Save Ukraine, Mykola Kuleba. He highlighted that, thanks to collaboration with Bring Kids Back UA, Ukrainian volunteers managed to evacuate these children, some of whom had already received summons from the occupiers. "Currently, all the children and their families are safe and receiving the necessary assistance at our centers," Kuleba reported. He also shared several stories of children forced to live under occupation. "Vitalina, who was in the late stages of pregnancy, could not leave her village when the occupiers arrived. She had to register Russian documents for her child to avoid being taken away. Marichka was compelled to attend a Russian school and memorize propaganda poems, and at 18, she was given a choice: to obtain Russian citizenship or walk to Ukraine. Kirill received a military draft notice at just 17 years old, being told he was now a citizen of the Russian Federation," Kuleba recounted. Kuleba added that a total of 538 children have been returned from the occupied territories. Recall that six Ukrainian children returned with their mothers from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It was also reported that nine teenagers and a 20-year-old young man were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine from the occupied areas and Russia.
