The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) has approved seven new loans to member states totaling 685 million euros to strengthen resilience and social cohesion in Europe. Ukraine will receive 200 million euros. This information is stated in the press release from the Council of Europe Development Bank, as reported by European Truth. According to the bank's president, Carlo Monticelli, the loan for Ukraine was approved in "record time," which underscores the institution's commitment to "supporting the recovery of the country." The funds provided to Ukraine will support the government's efforts to assist internally displaced persons (IDPs) and alleviate fiscal pressure. The money will be allocated to provide housing assistance to vulnerable categories of displaced individuals facing challenges with housing, employment, and access to services, many of whom cannot return home due to the war. It is worth noting that last year Ukraine completed the accession process and became the 43rd member of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB). As previously reported, the Administrative Council of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) approved a new project for NOME. This includes compensation for destroyed property, which entails providing Ukraine with a loan of 100 million euros.
