Neither side has reached a deadlock – planned operations continue from both Russian forces and the Ukrainian army.

Retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, flight instructor, and military expert Roman Svitan noted that there remains a certain dynamics of combat operations at the front, although it is periodic in nature and depends on a number of factors.

"The Russian Federation is concentrating the remnants of its reserves in the east, directing forces to eliminate the Kurakhove salient. The enemy's main efforts are focused in this area with the aim of leveling the front line along the Pokrovsk – Zolota Nyva axis," the expert remarked.

Ukrainian troops, in turn, are conducting a raid operation in the Kursk region, which has already yielded positive results. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively increasing their combat capabilities through new technological solutions and incoming armaments.

Roman Svitan emphasized that Russian forces have been unable to achieve the objectives set for the summer campaign.

"The enemy has not succeeded in pushing Ukrainian troops out of the Luhansk region, and Bilohorivka remains under the control of our forces. In Donbas, the enemy's plans have also failed – their troops will have to cover more than 30 kilometers to reach the western borders of the region and advance several dozen kilometers to the north," the expert noted.

He added that despite the appearance of some stabilization, the conflict is far from over. The variable dynamics of combat operations are also related to weather conditions, which hinder active troop movements.
