Ukraine is ready to share its experience of eliminating Russian mercenaries, particularly Wagner Group fighters, with African countries. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the 3rd International Conference on Food Security "Grain from Ukraine" on Saturday, November 23. "We know who the Wagner Group is. We understand how to combat them. We know how to eliminate them. This indicates that we have the relevant experience," the head of state said. Zelensky reminded that Ukrainian military personnel have previously participated in peacekeeping missions on the African continent. According to him, Ukraine can contribute to the security sector by leveraging the experience of its modern army. The president noted that African countries may be interested in technologies developed in Ukraine, such as aerial and naval drones. Additionally, Ukraine is prepared to assist in the field of cyber defense, having experience in repelling numerous cyberattacks on its financial system and communications. Zelensky added that Russian influence poses numerous challenges for African countries both on the continent and in global markets. He urged African nations to prioritize security and independence over the benefits of cheap resources, even under difficult economic conditions. Among other areas of cooperation, Zelensky highlighted food security, education, mineral extraction, digitization, and the Diia app. "All these things we can offer with pleasure," the president stated. It is worth noting that earlier, the terrorist group Al-Qaeda in Mali claimed responsibility for an attack on a Wagner Group convoy and the elimination of six Russian mercenaries.
