Rubio's directive does not pertain to aid for Kyiv, according to a journalist.

A journalist from Voice of America, citing sources within the Pentagon, has refuted Politico's report regarding a pause in aid to Ukraine.
Указ Рубио не затрагивает поддержку Киева, сообщает журналист.
The new directive from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding the suspension of foreign aid does not affect military support for Ukraine. This was reported by Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh on social media late on Saturday, January 25.   He commented on a report from Politico, which suggested that Rubio's new order likely pertains to military assistance for Ukraine. Yarysh, citing his own sources within the Pentagon, refuted this claim.   "The Pentagon tells me the opposite - that this directive does not concern military support. I'm not sure what Politico specifically means. I suspect it might refer to the FMF program, but the allocated funds for supporting Ukraine have long been spent," Yarysh wrote.     Recall that Politico, referencing a current State Department official and two former officials from the Biden administration, reported that a 90-day pause would likely halt aid to key allies such as Ukraine, Jordan, and Taiwan.   U.S. Senate considers increasing military aid to Ukraine
