The Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers will not impose fines or issue search warrants for conscripts who are fit for limited service if they do not manage to undergo a military medical commission by February 5. This was announced by Irina Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in Telegram.

She noted that a working meeting was held at the Office of the President regarding the issues of undergoing the military medical commission by citizens fit for limited service. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, the Medical Forces Command, and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee, Alexander Zavitenovich, participated in it.

Among the decisions made at the meeting was a proposal to amend the legislation. In particular, it is planned to exempt individuals under 25 years old and those recognized as disabled from re-undergoing the military medical commission. Additionally, the deadline for undergoing the commission for citizens fit for limited service is proposed to be extended from February 5 to June 5. This draft law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada under number 12457.

They also discussed the organization of the process to ensure that citizens can timely undergo the military medical commission after the amendments are made. Until the law is passed, the Territorial Recruitment Centers will not fine those who do not manage to complete the commission by February 5, nor will they issue search warrants for them. It is expected that the relevant directive will be sent to the appropriate agencies.

Vereshchuk urged the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, and other interested bodies to ensure proper communication with citizens, the formation of directions for the military medical commission, as well as the creation and dissemination of relevant schedules.
