Tank crews decisively took down Russian assault troops at close range.

Initially, attempts were made to drive out the occupiers using FPV drones. However, due to the dense urban environment and weather conditions, these efforts did not yield the desired results. It was at this point that the knights decided to unleash "the beast."

Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an attempt by the Russian army to storm their positions in the Toretsk direction, taking advantage of the adverse weather conditions. The corresponding video was released by the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign on Sunday, January 19.   Russian troops began attacking the positions of adjacent defense units located in an old industrial zone building.   Using the cover of fog, the invaders managed to infiltrate the interior, leading to a tense firefight within the building.   The Russian stormtroopers had a numerical advantage, which meant defenders required assistance. Using artillery was too risky due to the proximity of the forces, which was less than 20 meters.   Initially, Ukrainian defenders attempted to drive out the enemy with FPV drones; however, due to the dense construction and weather conditions, this did not yield the desired results.   To assist their comrades, tank crews from the 28th Brigade arrived. Taking advantage of the fog, under the guidance of the Gyrza unit, they moved closely to the section of the building occupied by the Russians.           As the defenders noted, "a dozen occupiers were already mixed with the concrete within a few minutes."   Recall that the warriors of the Special Battalion Shkval and pilots of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign eliminated elite Russian units during the fighting around Toretsk.   Earlier, it was reported that the fighters of the 28th OMBr, together with aviation, destroyed a field headquarters of the Russians.
