Syrsky explained the dangers posed by North Korean troops.

North Korean forces operate using Soviet tactics, organized into platoons and companies. However, they rely on their sheer numbers to gain an advantage.
Сырский рассказал о угрозах, исходящих от северокорейских войск.

North Korean soldiers are employing outdated Soviet tactics, yet their numbers and motivation present significant challenges for modern warfare. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, in an interview with "TSN.Tizhden."   "They operate using Soviet tactics, functioning in platoons and companies. They rely on their mass. Warfare today is different; in the current conditions dominated by drones, battles are fought in small groups, either assault or defensive units. When an attack comes from multiple sides, there can be a platoon here, a platoon there, with up to a hundred or sometimes more attacking soldiers who are quite bold—this is certainly a problem. There is even a shortage of ammunition," Syrsky noted.   He added that this amounts to an additional 11 or 12 thousand sufficiently motivated and trained fighters. However, already half of them are either wounded or killed.   It is worth mentioning that the U.S. Department of Defense stated that they do not see significant effectiveness in the participation of North Korean troops in battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.   Training War: What North Koreans Are Preparing for in Kursk
