Fatal car accident in Kharkiv region: two fatalities and two injured individuals.

On the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway in Chuhuiv, a collision occurred between a Ford and a VAZ on Saturday, November 23. As a result of the accident, two men lost their lives. A woman and a 10-year-old child sustained injuries, reported the National Police.   "The 46-year-old Ford driver, while overtaking, collided with the VAZ vehicle. The VAZ was driven by a 29-year-old man. Due to the injuries sustained, he and his 21-year-old passenger died at the scene. A 10-year-old child and a 52-year-old woman from the same vehicle were injured," the statement said.   It was noted that the Ford driver has been detained. The question of initiating criminal proceedings for violating traffic safety regulations is being considered. The circumstances of the accident are being established.

    It was also reported today that in the Lviv region, a pedestrian was struck by three vehicles.   Recall that in the Transcarpathian region, a collision occurred between a car and a scheduled bus from Khust to Lviv. As a result, a 22-year-old female driver of the car was killed, and a passenger from the bus was injured.
