Ukrainians can expect a gradual warming, as temperatures in the country will start to rise from January 20.

This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Ptuha from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center in a comment for NV.

According to the meteorologist, the frosts will begin to retreat as early as January 16. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between +1° and +4°, while during the day, they will range from -3° to +3°. Further warming is expected until the end of January, which will likely continue into February.

"The week will be quite calm, without sharp fluctuations. However, there is a trend towards rising temperatures: if early in the week it will be around -3°, by the end of the week temperatures are often recorded up to +3°," - noted Natalia Ptuha.

According to the forecast, at the end of January and the beginning of February, thermometer readings will increase, showing -5° to +5°. Earlier, the meteorologist also emphasized that the frosts are gradually weakening.
