Efforts to mitigate the consequences of Russia's attack on the energy system continue across Ukraine. The most challenging situation is in the Odessa region. This was reported by Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal on Telegram on Monday, November 18.   According to him, energy workers are repairing damaged equipment around the clock. Power, heating, and water supply have already been restored for residents of Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Rivne regions.   "Currently, around 220,000 subscribers remain without electricity in the Odessa region, where the situation is most difficult, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk. In Odessa, water supply is being resumed. The city's water pumping stations have been repaired, and technical water is being delivered. The restoration of centralized heating is ongoing. Important social facilities are provided with generators," the head of government reported.   Shmyhal assured that coordinated work is being carried out with regional military administrations on current needs. Points of invincibility have been established where people can recharge and access necessary services.   "Preparation for this winter has been lengthy. The government and local authorities have an action plan for various scenarios. We are also continuing to develop decentralized generation and encouraging individuals and businesses to switch to autonomous power sources to remain energy resilient, despite Russian terror," he concluded.
