The effective use of artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles enables border guards to successfully repel enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses on key areas of the eastern front. During a working trip, the head of the State Border Guard Service, Sergey Dyeyneko, visited the units of the brigades "Vengeance" and "Hart," as well as the rapid response border command "Squall," which are operating in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions.
During the meeting, the officers discussed the ongoing offensive actions of the enemy and the measures being taken by border guards to counter them.
In a recently published video report, operations of Ukrainian drones and the results of their work, combined with artillery strikes, are showcased, leading to the destruction of Russian troops. According to information provided by UP, on the day of filming, border guards eliminated more than 20 invaders in the Kramatorsk direction of the Donetsk region. The clip also emphasizes that Ukrainian border guards have repeatedly captured Russian soldiers, including one who was recently taken prisoner in the area of the Serebryansky forestry.
The detained prisoner reported that he was sent from the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation as part of an engineering sapper group consisting of 70 personnel, of which only 25 ultimately remained.
Special attention during the visit was given to the logistical support of the units, as well as the development of reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial complexes (RUBAK) to enhance the combat effectiveness of all combat brigades.
It is worth noting that analysts have stated that Russian control over Kurakhovo is merely a matter of time. Russian occupiers are advancing into the eastern outskirts of the city of Kurakhovo, attempting to establish a foothold and increase their strength.
