MGM+ has released the first trailer and announced the premiere date for "Earth Without People," an upcoming post-apocalyptic limited series adaptation of George R. Stewart's science fiction novel.

The premiere date for the first episode of "Earth Without People" is set for December 1 on the MGM+ streaming service.

Writer and executive producer Todd Komarnicki (Sully), who also serves as showrunner, states that in "Earth Without People," when a plague of unprecedented contagion spreads across the globe, the human race is nearly obliterated.
