Russians were unable to enter Kupiansk, a city currently under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces Headquarters reports that the Russians have been unable to enter the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, as it remains under the control of the Defense Forces. This was stated by Captain Andrei Kovalev, a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with "Ukrinform."

"All attacks by Russian occupiers in this direction have been successfully repelled. The Russian invaders have not succeeded in entering Kupiansk. The city is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he noted.

The officer specified that on November 13 at 14:30, the enemy attempted to breach the defense of Ukrainian troops in the Kupiansk area. Assault groups of the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in four waves. In total, the occupiers deployed about 15 units of equipment, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and the UR-77 mine clearance system.

"It should be noted that some Russian soldiers were dressed in uniforms resembling those of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This violates the laws and rules of warfare and constitutes a war crime," emphasized the representative of the General Staff.

According to his statement, the professional and determined actions of the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine thwarted the enemy's advance, destroying all of its armored vehicles and inflicting significant damage to the enemy's manpower.

"All enemy attacks in this direction have been successfully repelled. Following unsuccessful assaults and suffering losses in manpower, the Russian invaders did not attempt to repeat their attacks either in the afternoon of November 13 or in the morning of November 14. We urge everyone to rely solely on official and verified sources, particularly the reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Kovalev concluded.

DeepState reported the capture of Ilyinka by Russian forces and their advance towards Kupiansk. Ukrainian units struck at the enemy landing party; however, the situation at the front remains complicated.
