On the night of Saturday, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine using various types of missiles and drones. In total, the enemy employed 165 aerial attack assets, reported the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 1.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare means, and mobile fire groups. According to preliminary data, 56 strike "Shaheds"/various types of imitation drones were shot down, and another 61 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
"Some of the enemy's cruise missiles were destroyed by air defense. A significant portion of the missiles, due to active countermeasures by the Defense Forces, did not reach their targets. However, there were also hits, including missiles that approached the target on a ballistic trajectory. Detailed information about the enemy missiles will not be disclosed for now," the statement said.
Recall that from Friday evening into Saturday night, explosions were heard in Odesa, Kharkiv, Poltava, and several regions of Ukraine. The most casualties occurred in Poltava, where a Russian missile struck a residential apartment building. According to the latest data, there are seven dead and 14 injured.
